Now this is how you end the month of July…a 2 for 1 event…The Got Skills Prove It showcase mixed with the Southern Coalition Movement U Ain’t Da Streets We Are!!! Vol. 3 mixtape release party. This showcase plus mixtape release party has similar rules which are as follows: There are 15 slots on the U Ain’t Da Streets We Are mixtape. Each person who gets a slot can participate in the Got Skills Prove It showcase. We are pressing up 10,000 mixtapes to start and everyone on this mixtape performs the single featured on this mixtape and must also compete in the freestyle challenge. The top five performers get paid and of that five, the artist with the best performance and freestyle will receive a fully sponsored mixtape release party with 1000 CDs of their mixtape.
This event will take place on Saturday, July 28th at the All New Brinson’s on Madison Ave (341 Madison Ave, Memphis, TN) and is hosted by the Big 3: MMG DJ Q, DJ Ms. Hypnotique and Marty Party with DJ Winn and DJ Johnny Blaze on the 1’s and 2’s. Also celebrating DJ Johnny Blaze and Marty Party’s birthday. Admission is $10.
